2022 Summer Recitals
August 7th

Celebrating our 11th year as a nonprofit organization!

Sound Effects Benefit Concert - May 19

Mark your calendars - The Asheville Beatles Band is back on stage on May 19 at Salvage Station. The all-star cast of local musicians has reunited to take on The White Album. AMS student rock bands open the show. Don't miss it! Tickets available at salvagestation.com

Guitar Raffle

AMS is thrilled to announce the Pat Metheny Signature Guitar Raffle featuring an Ibanez PM35 Pat Metheny Signature Model guitar signed by Pat himself when he was playing in Asheville in February 2022. Pat is a passionate advocate of music education and was happy to support our nonprofit school by signing this guitar and offering the winner a rare opportunity to own a guitar personally signed by the master himself. Tickets available online at ams.rallyup.com/metheny

The New AMS!

Renovations are underway, as we officially broke ground earlier this month on our new home at 10 Ridgelawn Rd in West Asheville. We hope to be moving in by mid-June, but that is stil tbd. Thanks to our donors and a grant from the Glass Foundation, we've almost hit our Play It Forward capital campaign goal of $200,000. We've got about $30,000 to go!
